Look who is visiting our blog from different countries

Today in Room 1 we looked at our blog and were impressed with the visits it had received from different countries.

We are able to identify the countries by the flags on the right hand side of our blog

We discussed people we know who live in different countries. Some of us said that they could get these people to visit our blog and possibly leave a comment.

If you are able to help this process please pass on the address of our blog to someone in another country that you know and ask them to visit our blog.

I wonder how many different countries we could have by the end of the year.

E Papa Waiari

Here is a little movie to help us learn the actions to this song. What challenges could we put in it?

Hello British Cairo School

Do you go on class trips? This year we went on a zoo trip and playground trip.
Do you have computers? We have two computers in our class.
How many people do you have in your class? We have seventeen boys and eight girls.

Hippie Day

On friday it was hippie day and our 40th Jubilee. After we had news we had a parade of everyone wearing their hippie clothes. Some people were nervous and so was I. Then we had sports all morning, we played with the parachute,we had sack races, point builder, crazzy catch and gutter ball. We had so much fun running in our Hippie clothes. After lunch we went to the hall for a short assembly and then planted a tree as part of our celebrations. Afterwards we went out for some cake and then it was home time.

Oliver's Story

We have nine chickens at home including two bantams. A bantam is a very small type of rooster or hen that are very good at being parents. We have one bantam that is called Millie. She is black with puffy up feathers. We also have a white one. She is a bit bigger than Millie. She is broody that means she wants to sit on the eggs all the time because she thinks they're going to hatch. So we have bought some eggs that are going to hatch chicks and I'm really excited because they should hatch tomorrow.

Mamma Mia

I'ts Kayleigh here. In the weekend I went to the Mamma Mia show with two of my Aunties my Nana and my Mum. I was pushing my Nana because she was in a wheelchair. We got our seats and then the show begun. It started with Sophie sitting on the deck with her Mum's secret diary.

Then Sophie's two best friends came to see her. The three children had so much fun. After that Donna (Sophie's Mum)came into the house. Then two of Sophie's Aunties came in. Donna started to sing. After that, Donna showed Tanya and Rosie around the backyard. Sophie's three Dads came in and started talking about Donna sending them invitations to Sophie's wedding. Next Sophie came in. She saw her three dads talking to one another. Sam noticed Sophie. Then he said "it was nice of Donna to send us an invitation'. Then Sophie said "I sent the invitation". Next Sophie said 'I will show you where you are going to stay."Don't tell my mum Sophie said. After that the people that where doing the show had a break. Not long after that Sophie and Sky had the wedding but they didn't get married because Sophie didn't want to but Donna and Sam got married. Then they bowed. After that all the song were sung and everyone stood up and started dancing. I danced with my Auntie Jackie . Then we went home.
